BBQ Ribs

Ribs are the consummate BBQ dish, and Everett’s Paprika Garlic Fusion and brown sugar make the perfect rib rub – sweet and tangy. In the smoker or the oven, this is sure to be a mouthwatering success!
Ingredients
Makes 4 servings
2-3 lbs. rack of pork ribs
4 Tbsp Everett’s Paprika Garlic Fusion (Try Chipotle Lime or Lemon Rosemary)
4 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp brown sugar
Optional
1 tsp liquid smoke
BBQ sauce to taste
Method
For cooking on the smoker:
- Rinse the ribs with clean running water and pat dry.
- Mix the Fusion, olive oil, and brown sugar in a bowl and brush on the ribs. Allow the ribs to marinate at room temperature for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the smoker to 225 – 250 F.
- Smoke the ribs using your smoker manufacturer’s instructions for about 3 1/2 hours or until the meat shrink back from the end of the bone 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
- Optionally, glaze the ribs with BBQ sauce and place directly over fire for 5 minutes or at 350 F for 20 minutes.
- Serve with BBQ sauce on the side if you’d like.
For cooking in your oven:
- Rinse the ribs with clean running water and pat dry.
- Mix the Fusion, olive oil, brown sugar, and optional liquid smoke in a bowl and brush on the ribs. Allow the ribs to marinate at room temperature for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 250 F.
- Bake for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until the meat shrinks back from the end of the bone by 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
- Optionally, glaze the ribs with BBQ sauce raise the temperature 350 F to and bake for another 20 minutes.
- Serve with BBQ sauce on the side if you’d like.
