With just your tomato sauce and our Oregano Fennel Fusion, you’ll create a marinara sauce at home for your pizza and pasta that’s simply perfezionare. This Fusion has all the complexity you could ask for in a simple red sauce…flavorful oregano, aromatic fennel, and a touch of red chili flakes for sweet heat.
Makes about 3 cups of sauce or 4-6 pasta servings (keeps for two weeks in the fridge).
26 ounces of tomato sauce, chunky or smooth (We like Pomi Organic Strained Tomatoes)
4 Tbsp Everett's Oregano Fennel Fusion (one whole pouch)
2 Tbsp olive oil
- Heat tomato sauce over medium heat, stirring occasionally until just boiling.
- Reduce heat to simmer and add olive oil and Everett’s Oregano Fennel Fusion, more or less depending on how much flavor you like. Stir occasionally and simmer for 20 minutes so the flavors can infuse your tomato sauce.
Use this flavorful marinara on pasta and pizza, of course, or pour it over your favorite sandwich for new taste treat.
