Making a great salad dressing is as easy as 1, 2, 5 – 1 part Fusion, 2 parts oil and 5 parts vinegar. For Italian dressing, we use Oregano Fennel. We also love using Lavender Thyme or Lemon Rosemary for different takes on the usual salad fare.
Makes dressing for 1 large or 2 smaller salads
1 Tbsp Everett’s Lavender Thyme Fusion
2 Tbsp olive oil or oil of your choice
5 Tbsp apple cider or balsamic vinegar
- Mix the Fusion and vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside for 10 minutes or more to allow the Fusion to infuse the vinegar.
- Compose a salad to your liking.
- Just before serving, mix the oil into the small bowl with the vinegar infusion. Then toss into the salad.
For salad as a main course, we love to start with a variety of greens like lettuce, endive, radicchio, arugula and all types of kale and add in nuts, grains, beans, fruit and even cold pasta for endless variety of tastes and textures.
