This is our twist on a Southern classic. Warm comforting collard greens made with buttery olive oil and smoky Everett’s Paprika Garlic Fusion, no bacon or ham needed.
Make 4 servings
2 bunches of collard greens, leaves stripped from the stalks and coarse chopped into pieces
1 cup veggie broth
1 Tbsp Everett's Paprika Garlic Fusion
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp liquid smoke
- Place the broth and fusion into a medium pot and bring to a gentle boil.
- Turn down the temperature to a medium low and add the olive oil and greens. Optionally add the liquid smoke.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Greens should be wilted but still have a nice green color.
